Warren County has been home to the food processing industry for two decades. Sysco Foods’ Northeast Redistribution Center has anchored our Stephens Industrial Park for the last 18 years. With 250 employees and 1,000,000 square feet under roof, Sysco is a key company in our Food Processing Industry sector.
Weston Foods/Interbake employs 341 full time and contract employees and has over 350,000 square feet under roof at their production facility, also in the Stephens Industrial Park, just two miles from the VA Inland Port.
Nature’s Touch rounds out our Food Processing companies with a location adjacent to the VA Inland Port. They employ 80 people and are currently utilizing 48,000 square feet at the Interchange facility.
Transportation/Logistics
With the Virginia Inland Port offering a direct rail line to the Port of Virginia at Norfolk, Warren County is the Northern Gateway for domestic and international shipping for the Shenandoah Valley region.
